Smile for a Lifetime – SC Lowcountry

We at Kelley Orthodontics feel that it is very important to give back to our community. We are proud to help support countless local school programs, sports teams, church groups, etc.

In addition, our real passion is to help make orthodontic treatment a possibility for everyone. As a result, Dr. Kelley started a chapter of the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation in April of 2011.

Who We Are

Smile for a Lifetime Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides orthodontic care to individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive treatment. We aim to reach individuals with orthodontic needs who also have financial challenges or other special situations. Our mission is to create self confidence, inspire hope, and change the lives of children in our community in a dramatic way through the gift of smiles. We aim to help deserving, underserved individuals who, in turn, can use this gift to better themselves and our community.

What We Do

Our local Board of Directors selects 10 applicants each year to receive the gift of a Smile for a Lifetime scholarship. Kelley Orthodontics provides FREE orthodontic services to these deserving scholarship winners.

Who Decides

Please note that while Dr. Kelley and his team are committed to providing orthodontic services to selected candidates, an independent Board of Directors chooses scholarship recipients. This Board of Directors in no way provides any bias or influence toward the chosen candidates. Applications are reviewed three times a year, and Kelley Orthodontics will contact the patients chosen upon selection by the Board of Directors.
