Your First Visit

Beautiful smiles start for free!

During your first complimentary appointment at Kelley & Gardner Orthodontics, we will take initial photographs and a panorex (if your dentist does not have one), thoroughly examine your teeth and jaws, discuss your customized treatment options, and provide you a detailed financial outline.

We want you to feel informed and comfortable throughout your treatment, so Dr. Kelley or Dr. Gardner will spend one-on-one time reviewing your photographs and x-rays with you to ensure you have a complete understanding of your orthodontic needs. We will also use 3-D imaging to demonstrate how your treatments will work.

During your consultation, we will:

  • Take a panoramic x-ray and photographs of your teeth and face
  • Evaluate your orthodontic needs
  • Develop your customized orthodontic treatment plan
  • Establish the best time for you to start orthodontic treatment
  • Answer all of your questions and help alleviate concerns
  • Discuss insurance and flexible payment options
  • Set up your next appointment to begin treatment

Flexible appointments to suit your schedule!

If we recommend starting orthodontic treatment, we can often complete your diagnostic records at this first appointment. This includes a 3D impression-less scan for digital study models, a cephalometric x-ray, and any additional necessary photographs. At your next appointment, we can start treatment immediately without the need for another diagnostic appointment.

We know your schedule is already full, but you don’t need to worry about your orthodontic treatment getting in the way. Your appointments will usually occur every 6–8 weeks and last approximately 20–30 minutes, and then you’re done!

Whether it’s your free consultation or your last treatment, we strive to stay on schedule and get you back to your busy day. If you are running late, please call or text our office to let us know so we can adjust appointment times.

We can’t wait to see you!
