The trays are custom made for each patient and use gentle pressure to move teeth into their ideal placement. The patient wears their trays for 90% of their day and only removes them to eat or brush. The trays are generally replaced every week to help move teeth into a beautiful smile. Adult patients – and all orthodontic patients – love this option because the trays are virtually invisible when worn. It’s likely that other people may not even realize you’re wearing them! They also require fewer office visits because you change your trays at home.
Braces -Damon System and Clear
Let’s start off with the treatment option that most people picture when they think about orthodontic treatment – traditional metal braces. We use the Damon System Braces and it’s more comfortable than ever. The Damon System are tie-less braces that don’t require tightening. This high-tech method moves teeth quickly and may require fewer office visits! Adults often like this option because it’s easier on their busy schedules. The biggest con is that it is a more noticeable treatment option than most adults prefer.
Clear Braces
We also offer Empower Clear Brackets, which work in the same way as Damon System braces but are ceramic and therefore less noticeable. These braces provide the same strength and comfort that you would expect from metal brackets, but they are much more subtle. Adults often prefer this option because the brackets come close to matching the tooth’s natural color and are therefore more subtle. Patients also like that the brackets are stain-resistant throughout the entire treatment time.
