How often and what happens?

How often will my child have to go to the orthodontist during treatment?

During treatment, we typically see our patients every 6–10 weeks with appointments sometimes every 4 weeks for the last few months.

Will my child need headgear?

While headgear is a great tool to help correct an overbite, there are fortunately many other ways of achieving super results without having to wear that dreaded appliance.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a marine biologist.

Clio High School in Michigan, Grand Valley State University, and Trident Technical College.

Where are you from? If not Charleston, what brought you here?

I’m from Michigan, and I had to get out of the cold!

What led you to your current role at Kelley Orthodontics?

After six years in the container shipping industry, I decided to change careers and go to dental hygiene school. After a semester and a half, I decided it wasn’t for me, but I soon found an administrative position with Dr. Kelley.
