When you were little what did you tell people you wanted to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be the lady at Belk that wrapped the gifts.

I attended Williamsburg Academy grades 1-12 and graduated from Francis Marion University with a degree in psychology.
What led you to your current role? (Assistant, administrative, accounting?)
My younger sister, Lauren, was working here and decided to go back to school. She always said what a great office it was to work in, so since I was looking for work in Mount Pleasant, I just took over her position.
Where are you from? If not Charleston, what brought you here?
I grew up in Kingstree, SC. Charleston is a beautiful place, close to the beach and my hometown where my parents still live.
Did you have braces? For how long? Did you have clear or colored rubber bands? Head gear? Did you really use the floss threaders like you’re supposed to?
No, I did not have braces however, after my wedding on the 16th, I am considering treatment….I’m not sure I’d be a very good patient, though!
What job could you never do?
I could never be one of those people who hold the stop signs all day long amongst the road construction….or the person who has to remove dead animals from the highway….ewwww.

What was your first concert? Best concert?
I am ashamed to say that my first concert was New Kids on the Block. All my friends were going and I didn’t want to be left out. I didn’t even have their tape….I swear!! I have since been to some pretty awesome Widespread Panic shows. Eric Clapton was pretty cool too.
What is the best part about working with / for Dr. Kelley?
He treats his employees very well. He is kind and understanding and took us to Hawaii :)
What celebrity has the best teeth? What celebrity would you most like to have as a patient at Kelley Orthodontics?
Not Tom Cruise, that’s for sure! His midline is crazy off!! Bill Murray would be cool to treat. That man is hilarious and lives close by….it could totally happen!
About what are you most proud of Kelley Orthodontics?
Smile for a Lifetime. There are not many practices out there that offer such a great opportunity to be treated free of charge. It’s a very generous and kind act that Dr. Kelley is making by providing treatment to others that otherwise could not afford it.
If you were invited to be on the show Shark Tank, what is the invention you would present? (Doesn’t everyone have a “million dollar idea” every now and then?)
Hmmmm…..I’m not sure. But what I am sure of is that it would be something that lessened my house work. I despise cleaning house!

Yes, I have a black and white pekingese named Lilly. She lives with her grandparents in Kingstree since she’s not so fond of her little brother, Oliver.
